I love using my black pens. The following doodles were done with a fine point Sharpie. I wanted to fill the page with patterns as they happened spontaneously.

What is a true eclectic to do when her passions lead her in different directions?
This is a blog for the unfocused, the round pegs in the square holes, the short-attention span types, and all those who just can't bring themselves to join the ranks and adhere to a single category of activities or interests...whether sketches, drawings and comics, fixing an old farmhouse in Oregon, or whatever else strikes my fancy.

Awesome! Love these! Lots of contrast.
ReplyDeletePretty fancy doodles! I especially like the one with the eye. nancy
ReplyDeleteInteresting doodles! I like drawings with a lot to look at. I particularly love the little bird in the first one :)
ReplyDeleteI share your love for black pens (almost only use them) and doodles!
Great doodles! I never get so far as to covering a whole page, these look awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow...Look at you go! These are terrific pages.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of doing these patterns and filling up a page.
ReplyDeletethese are awesome! have you played with zentangles (as in http://zentangles.com)? They have "tutorials" in their newsletters online so it's not NECESSARY to buy their kit...
ReplyDeleteNo offense, but I personally don't have a very good opinion of the company you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteOne doesn't need any "tutorials" to apply patterns on a page, and this looks like a way to get insecure people to part with their money. I saw the kit in question and couldn't help laughing at how outrageously expensive it was. What stops you from buying your own pencil, pen and paper and let your hand do its own thing, create its own patterns? Does anyone need a kit or a book for that? Does anyone need a company that appropriates a creative process everyone is capable of doing on their own, packages it, and gives it a fancy name? What a rip-off!..
