What is a true eclectic to do when her passions lead her in different directions?
This is a blog for the unfocused, the round pegs in the square holes, the short-attention span types, and all those who just can't bring themselves to join the ranks and adhere to a single category of activities or interests...whether sketches, drawings and comics, fixing an old farmhouse in Oregon, or whatever else strikes my fancy.

New Year's Eve at Pix Patisserie (01-01-11)

Last night, I went by myself (Gary was scheduled to work early) to Pix Patisserie SE, to usher in the New Year in in a spectacular manner. Once again, they offered their free Chocolate Buffet to people who ordered a drink after 11 p.m. So, while I waited for midnight to come, I drew people in the crowd.

Waiting for midnight...
Pretty girl.
Faces in the crowd.
The most rewarding treats EVER!

  1. I can't believe I STILL have never attended the Pix Party. Perhaps next year?

  2. I did that last year! Pix is one of the most amazing places in the world. I go there everytime I visit Portland, and everytime someone from out of town comes to visit, I tell them to go there. I've only been to the one in North Portland, though. Is the one in SE much different? I love your sketches. I've always loved looking at faces and how different they can be.
